Tuesday, Wednesday- 1 1/2 Weeks Down!

Tuesday night was a CRAZY night! After getting home from picking the kids up I sang the jump up and down song trying to wear off some "enjury" because they were FULL of it! They each took turns jumping up and down until I was tired of singing it... yet they charged on!

About the only thing I could do to get them to sit down and chill for a bit was to offer a Movie. Kaeden has gotten really good at working all the clickers. He now knows how to turn on the TV, and then to find the movie they want on Netflix, Wii. They both argue back and forth over who gets to pick the movie. All I hear the whole way home from school is K: "I wanna pick" B: "No I pick" K: "I wanna pick" B: "No I pick" K: "I wanna pick" B: "No I pick" K: "I wanna pick" B: "No I pick"... I think you get the point.

After we got settled in watching Batman of all movies I thought I should pick on Kaeden just to show him who is the boss. So, I sat on him while he was laying down and bounced up and down. I had fun! He laughed so hard I figured I better stop before he peed his pants!
Finally they were content for a few minutes, so I thought I would spend some time trying to figure out my new Droid 2. Apparently I am not Smart enough to use a Smart phone :0( I've got the babysitter coming over to help me learn how to use it tomorrow!
OK so that didn't last long! They were back up and running around! Bella was walking back and forth saying oh gosh, but it sounded more like "oh goss". She is so funny! I hadn't heard her say that before. I love the new words she comes home with each day. I figured I better take a picture of her saying it so I would not forget to mention how cute it was.
I am so blessed to have two great kids that love each other. They get along so well and play together so well. I know it won't be that way forever so I am cherishing those moments now while they last.
As I mentioned before they kids are loving all the pictures I am taking of them, and want to take my picture. I ponder letting them touch my nice... very expensive camera. But I gave into Kaeden and let him take another picture so Daddy can see me too!
They kids went back to their playing, and they were having a blast doing it. Once again they were launching cars off the bar, and then crawling down off the couch, and running around the corner into the office to pick up the cars. I had to chuckle at the amount of fun they were having, knowing how happy they were to be playing together. And then IT happened... as they were running back around to the couch Bella ran right into the corner of the wall. I think maybe Kaeden bumped her as they were running through the doorway and she was thrown off balance. Anyway Bella cried REALLY hard, and was not interested in the cold rag that I held on her face. She had a bruise that formed immediately from her forehead to her cheek. Of course it was bedtime so this made me nervous about putting her to sleep in case she had a concussion. So I took her to the ER just to be safe. The Urgent Care doctor checked her reflexes and neurological responses and said she seemed OK. My instructions were to wake her in the night and make sure her responses were normal. I must have woke her three or four times(crazy Mom). Today the bruise looks much better! I hope it doesn't turn into the ugly green and yellow colors. My poor sweet girl!

Tonight was much more mellow than last. Bella was her sweet self.
We had leftovers for dinner again. Tonight was the last night for all that left over food to remain in our refrigerator. We had ham and potato salad(again) and green beans. I had to throw all the other left overs out...they had served their time. And I realized I need to get groceries! That will be the plan for my lunch hour tomorrow. Bella ate 3/4 of the can of green beans herself, that is three helpings if you break it down.
Kaeden was having a hard time listening tonight which made both of us a little grumpy. I told him to smile and this is what I got...

After dinner Kaeden went back to watching his movie and while I was cleaning the mess Linda came over for a visit. We are so lucky to have Al & Linda as our neighbors! The kids love them so much and they love the kids! Bella was loving on Linda the whole time she was here visiting.

Bella wanted to help me polish the granite so I gave her the Enviro cloth. She did a really good job! So good that she could see the reflection of Linda and I standing near by and kept looking into the reflection and yelling "HI MOMMY, HI LINDA"
This has been a lengthy post but I had to cram it all in, yesterday's events and today's. I am a little bummed that it is only Wednesday because I am ready for the weekend to be here! I will try to catch up on some missed sleep this weekend... hahahahaa who am I kidding? These kids keep going and going and going! I love spending every minute with them that I possibly can. Being with the kids keeps me busy and my mind off other things.
One and a half weeks down that Jess has been gone and one and a half weeks until I start my new job!

After this episode of Damages I am off to bed!

We LOVE and MISS you Daddy!
STAY SAFE!!!
