New Years Continued

Well after Bella woke up from her nap we snuggled for a little before Kaeden and Bella started at each other over every little thing. So it was time to get the out of the house. Three days inside will get old even if it is spent with your best friend.
So we headed over to Chris and Tammy's for a little New Years celebrating. I had each of the kids pack a little backpack with toys just in case they didn't have anything to do at Tammy's. Bella was so cute copying Kaeden with the items she selected for her backpack. I tried to convince her that maybe she wanted to bring her baby but NO she packed cars, and spiderman, and batman toys. The toys didn't really matter because they spent most of our time there socializing with all the new people we met. Kaeden was having a blast coloring pictures for all of his new lady friends who adored him. And Abby (Tammy's cousin) was so nice to color with Kaeden and she even tried to color his ear which made him gut laugh so hard everyone else was laughing too!

Bella's New Year's resolution must have been to go potty like a big girl for anyone but mom. While we were at Tammy's, Bella told Whip four times she had to go and I warned him she won't go but you can take her if you like. SHE WENT FOUR TIMES!!! I couldn't believe it. I have been asking to put big girl underwear on her, and at one point when I put big girl undies on her she asked for her diaper back on. She did so well telling us she had to go and actually making it to the toilet before she went in her diaper. I think she knows exactly what needs to be done but just wants to do it on her own time.

We got another short phone call from Daddy and each of the kids got to talk to him for a minute. They really love to hear Daddy's voice. So far they have been asking for Dad a lot but we haven't had any breakdowns yet, which I am thankful for!
I had a lot of fun visiting with other adults and I really enjoyed hanging with Tammy.

The kids had fun too! I think the kids ended up being the major source of entertainment for the evening. But it was getting late and I had to get the kids home, so I told them to pick up their toys. At one point Abby was helping Kaeden get crayons off the floor from under the kitchen table and BONKED her head on the table and fell over. We all died laughing!!! Except for Kaeden I think he was wondering what just happened.

Crayons all picked up and toys put away it was time to put an end to a long and eventful day. So Kaeden snuggled on my lap while we waited the last few minutes for the truck to warm up, and Bella was giving everyone goodbyes. I think we all had lots of fun! Goodnight!!!

We Love you Daddy!
STAY SAFE!!!
