22 More Weeks

Today was fun! Work was good! I was able to get a few errands done before picking up the kids. And so, we march on... As soon as we got home the kids both colored pictures to send to Daddy while I figured out dinner plans.

I told them to scoot closer to get a picture together and Bella was not interested. Kaeden was really upset over it and started crying. Ugh! Five minutes after we walk in the door, and already a melt down! Bella felt bad after he started crying and tried to console him...
Back to dinner plans...
I thought it would be a great idea to have leftovers from yesterdays for dinner, but the kids thought otherwise. So we had Tomato soup which is Kaeden's favorite! He was still upset because Bella would not scoot close for the picture and hugs didn't help him feel better, so I let him help me stir the soup. It worked!
Bella got to help stir too, but I couldn't get a picture because i was holding her. The both enjoyed dinner, as did I! Wow does tomato soup with crackers really makes a mess to clean up afterwards!
After dinner we had some time to watch some cartoons. I told Kaeden he could not watch Batman after having a bad dream about monsters crawling into his bed and having to shoot them last night. They picked Pingu, which if you don't already know, is a cartoon with penguins who don't actually say ANY words, they just make noises. You would really be surprised at how quiet they are watching this show, I am! They both sat on the bar watching Pingu, it was so cute I had to take the shot.
Linda stopped by for a quick visit which energized the kids as always. They love to have company to show off to. They were both bouncing off the walls, well off the couch anyways, and all I could see from where I was sitting was their little heads popping up over the bar.
Being that there was only 15 minutes until bed time I had to get them calmed down so I made the bouncing stop. They enjoyed a little rest on the bar. Can you see in all the pictures that the are both yelling out "CHEEZ"!
Kaeden finished watching Pingu, and Bella made cute faces over the bar. Adorable!

Now who couldn't LOVE a face like this?
Every day they make me smile, and every day the fill my heart with joy! Even with the fits, and the breakdowns, and the constant mess... I love our little Lucifer and Lucifett!

Now off to bed with my sleepy heads, well not for one. After putting Bella down without a hitch it was Kaeden's turn. HITCH! I gave him the usual hugs and kisses and words of LOVE, and I walked out of the room. After him sneaking out of his room last night I had a plan to stand outside the door just to see what his motives were for tonight. I stood for only about 30 seconds and he thought it was safe, so he started crawling out from under the covers ever so sneakily. Before he could even reach the steps of his bed I opened the door and busted him. His eyes were huge! I shut the door again. This time about 45 seconds went by and he started crawling out again trying very carefully to be quiet. I popped open the door and he nearly jumped underneath the mattress. When I asked our little charmer what he was doing he said "I was trying to pull the covers over me". NOT! I told him to lay down yet again, and this time he realized that I was watching him through the crack of the door even though he could not see me. So I stood by for probably 5 minutes before I realized he wasn't going to try it again. They are both fast asleep, and I am headed that way myself.

I hope you are enjoying our stories.

We Love you and MISS you Daddy!
STAY SAFE!!!
