Happy New Year Blogger

My New Years resolution for 2011 is to learn new and improved ways to communicate with my man while he is deployed. So, my bestie Sarah has been bugging me to get a blog FOREVER, so here I go. To ring in the new year I was lucky enough to get a phone call from Jess waking me from my 2010 slumber. We talked long enough to say Happy New Year and I love you goodnight. I was so happy to hear his voice because I was thinking how sad it was to have this holiday be spent without him. Thanks for calling Babe!!! THEN a few hours later Mr. Kaeden crawled into bed with me and we snuggled the rest of the early morning hours away, until I woke up with a motorcycle handle bar in my side...Ouch!

I got up and made the kids their very nutritious breakfast which consisted of Eggos with syrup. After that whole ordeal the kids had to take a bath since Bella decided to style her hair with syrup and they were both very sticky. In the bath you go! Kaeden and Bella both loved playing with the new spiderman luffas that Santa brought for Christmas.

After some play time it was nap time. Kaeden went down almost without a hitch other than coming out to use the bathroom. Bella on the other hand was in her crib doing the river dance for 2 hours before I went in there and got her out of the crib. I tried to get her to sleep on the floor but she was only faking. So I brought her downstairs and held her wrapped up in the blanket on the couch, ten minutes tops and she was snoring on me. She Sleeps!
I went out and raked snow off the roof after our nice big snow storm which Allan had already cleared the driveways for me. But we had some pretty big drifts! Babe you are not missign any great weather that's for sure!

Kaeden is FULL of what he calls "Enjury" this afternoon. He told me he is "almost out of enjury so he maybe needs to WAX and get more enjury". Right now he is trying to draw a picture for Daddy in order to send a letter but doesn't understand what a letter is. He thinks a letter is one character of the alphabet (which it is), but he can't quite grasp that a letter is also something you can write and send in the mail. We will work on that.

Oh I hear pitter patter of little feet! Bella woke up and crawled out of Kaedens bed where she was sleeping and came down to announce "Mommy I AKE up!" One sock on and one sock off. Sweet little Bella is up so I think this blog will quickly come to an end.
